Some of you likely remember Tony Corcoran who became part of our community for a while when he first transferred here from Flagstaff, AZ a couple of years ago. He was found dead last Friday in his apartment. The cause of his death is unknown, but likely related to ongoing health issues he had been dealing with.
I have been in contact with his family and want you all to know that a memorial service will be held this Saturday at 10:00am at El Camino Baptist Church, 7777 East Speedway, here in Tucson with the burial service to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 North Oracle Road.
Some of you went hiking with him and also got to know him a bit through Pilgrim Group and I know I personally enjoyed his company over several meals as well as appreciating his gentle, quiet presence at worship. Please be especially in prayer for his family as they deal with their grief and sorrow now and in the days ahead
