October 12, 2003 The Village Postcard Happenings around the Village . . . Oct 16 8a - 4:30p Muse Deconstruction Event with Bolivian Dinner to Follow at 5:30p. Blanca is preparing a Bolivian Dinner at the Seneca House for those who participate in the work at the Muse. If you didn’t sign up on Sunday, please give the Seneca House a call tell them you will be helping at the Muse. Belonging Service: This coming week is our Belonging Service. Please bring a small stone that represents you in some way. I know some of you will not be able to sign the covenant for one reason or another. Please come anyway and bring a stone. We would like to acknowledge that we all are in different roles at the Village. Families are not just made up of brothers and sisters - they include Mothers and Fathers, Aunts and Uncles, and various types of Cousins =). The Leadership of the Village (Rod, Eric, Susan, Keith, Cheryl, Tom, Mary Kay, Emily M., Jeff, Karen B., and Russ Lewis) is going to cook dinner for everyone and serve it during the service. Good News On Nov 1, Rod Hugen will be full time at the Village. If you were at Vespers on Sunday, then you know he will be filling the position of High Risk Pastor =). This is a very big financial step of faith for the Village, but the leadership felt like God was moving us in this direction. If you have any questions, please talk to Rod or someone on leadership.
