so when I woke up this morning I realized I had a voicemail from somebody at 7:30am. I thought that was pretty weird. I got it and it was from the pastor of the church I had gone to the past two weeks here.
he was calling to say they had to cancel church because it's snowing so hard this morning... thought that was kind of funny. it's like a snow day - only for church!!! haha. it is beautiful though. :)

That sounds lovely. There's something so quiet and pristine about snow. Especially the first ones of the season.

It snowed here this AM and I can say that it is a big sloppy, muddy, cold, icy mess. I miss the warmth of the Arizona sun!
Do you really want everything to be wet and cold??
But hey, we'd love to have you here with us if you think you're down for snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like snow is peaceful and serene, but also cold and annoying when you're all wet and are stuck in it or have to drive in it which is terrifying.
I've also discovered that shoveling snow is kind of therapeutic. kind of like sometimes when you're washing the dishes and it's not stressful... I'm sure I'll get sick of it after awhile and it kind of puts a lot of strain on my back but for today at least I kind of enjoyed it.

Hey I think it's great you're enjoying the snow, Cori! I am just being a scrooge. Also the nice thing about Colorado (well, at least Denver I know for sure) is the sun.... even though it's cold and might be 70 one day and snowing the next, there is still a lot of sun...here...well, sun is gone for like 5 months of the year.
Anyway, just ignore me and enjoy your snow!
