I couldn't get the website to allow me to respond to Em's blog, so I'll start this one with responses.

Yesterday I shared with Em that something was encouraging. I have had allergies for several months and been frustrated by not being able to breath. Yesterday, after a meeting at work, I found that I had baby poop running down my pants leg and soaking into my pants. Not a great thing, especially at work, but I realized something. If I didn't have allergies, I would have to smell that poop running down my pants leg. I HATE the smell of poop. So, praise God for my allergies.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (New International Version)
18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (I am enjoying the Bible lately too!)

Also, because of work on Tuesday night, I missed having dinner with my fam. They had a nice meal that Ryan creatively threw together. It was Indian food. I was sad when I got home that I hadn't got to partake in that meal as it sounded so good. Well, yesterday, after Em graciously agreed to watch Ellie during my meeting, I went to her home for dinner. She had, unknowingly, fixed a similar lunch. It was so good...I felt like God had answered that longing to get to taste that wonderful meal that I missed. And though I couldn't smell things, I can taste all the wonderful spices in it.

Then Karen brought over a meal for us to enjoy to welcome the new baby....thanks Karen! God blessed me a lot yesterday and it was a GOOD day!
