Hi friends...
We could use your prayers. I am looking to go back to work p/t. We are therefore looking for child care (affordable, safe, and not where our chn will be zoning out in front of the tv all day). We have checked out a couple of places and have called 6-12 different people/facilities. But the reason we need your prayers? Because we have to trust our kids to God's care even more than we have; we have to trust that He will take care of them when we can't see how they are doing. And we have to trust them to strangers!
I am especially having difficulty with this because of our first daughter, Baby M. We recently got an update on her and things aren't going well in her family and therefore, they aren't going well for her. We loved her, gave her and her family all we had of ourselves, and had to let her go...trusting that God would watch out for her and keep her safe. Well, it is hard to hear how her life is now. I want to yell, "Lord, you didn't hold up your end of the bargain. I let my heart break and let her go to you and look what happened..." I am angry at Him for allowing her to be 'taken' from her healthier family here to be given to her not healthy family there. I am angry that He is letting her get hurt there. And if He is rescuing her from her circumstances, it doesn't seem like it is happening fast enough.
So, with all those mistrust, where will He be with our kids now that we have to trust to strangers? Pls pray for us in this journey. Thanks.

I will be praying for you! I can only imagine how difficult it must be to have to entrust your children to other people and to God, but I know God loves our children even more than we ever can, so I will pray that you guys find peace in that and have confidence in the fact that He sees the big picture and can bring "beauty from ashes" no matter what hardships we/our children face in life.
As far as childcare goes, I asked my dear Christian friend Janii about places in town and here's the scoop:
1. The Learning Tree (I-19 and Valencia) I don't know where you live, so this might be out of your way, but this is the place Janii and her husband are bringing their baby. It is in a Methodist church, so it is Christian based teaching/approach to childcare and my friends had a lot of peace about leaving their baby there. The prices are these: $28/day for babies, $23/day for age three and up? AND Janii told me that, unlike a lot of daycares that require you to pay for a whole week of payment when your kids get sick and stay home, this place only asks for three days' payment for missed weeks since it is a per day pay schedule.
2. The Sandbox (Swan and Glenn) Janii was not sure of the pricing, but she said she was offered a job to work here a couple of years ago and she was able to tour the place then. She LOVED the place-very clean and had a great vibe and recommended it.
3. Tucson Jewish Community Center (Dodge and River?) I know this is random, but the JCC is one of my FAVORITE places in Tucson. I just love going in there- The community orchestra I used to be a part of practiced in various parts of the building and i saw the early childhood development area while there. It is such a warm, open, peaceful place, and the ECD area looked so fun and pleasant, but I don't know the prices at all. Here's the website: http://www.tucsonjcc.org/Early_Childhood_Education/

Thank you Laelia for your suggestions. I called the JCC and left a VM so we'll see if they are affordable. The Learning Tree sounds great but we are near the church. The Sandbox looks great! But they charge for it too!!! ;)
