Hi to everybody from my room, which has been my den of illness these past three days. I'm looking for a connection with death and resurrection at this point. That's kind of what it's felt like. Okay... not that dramatic. And certainly not anywhere near the same category of selflessness. I've had an awful case of strep throat, however, and the pain is just now starting to let up. Pain. That could be the merciful touch of Dayquil, or the shot of antibiotic delivered to my rump last night by some angel of mercy named Rosemarie. This was just a tiny glimpse of the pain that some people suffer for years of their lives. What does that mean? |
